The Priory Group is Europe's leading independent provide of acute mental health services, secure and step-down services, specialist education, complex care and neuro-rehabilitation services, working in partnership with the public and independent sectors.

The Priory Group estate extends to over 70 properties. They range from small residential properties, to schools & colleges, to specialist and secure hospitals of over 100 beds

Our initial appointment with Priory was to understand the contractors that carried out works at Priory sites. Priory indicated to us the number of contractors to be in the order of 60. Following our investigations and commissioning of our report we established they employed over 200 contractors. Our report was completed in just 2 months, and included full details of all the contractors, rates they charged, and locations they worked at.

Priory appointed us to commence to rationalise the contractor base to a more manageable level. This was achieved through a strict tender process and included competence questionnaire to ensure that existing "small local" contractors were of the calibre Priory expected.

Our helpdesk role has ensured that all sites now only expect the appointed contractor to attend, and have worked closely with all sites to explain the virtue of such "competent" contractors.

We have developed a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme, with a bespoke programme issued to each site. We also mange and store all the legal certificates, to ensure that no site becomes "non compliant"
